LG UltraGear OLED Gaming Monitor: Release Date, Specs, Price—Is It Worth It?

The famous South Korean tech manufacturer, LG, brings the public a new device for their computer gaming needs, and it centers on the recently revealed UltraGear OLED Gaming Monitor. It is the company’s advanced gaming display soon available to all users, centering on a 27-inch screen, 4K capabilities, 240Hz refresh rate, and 0.03ms response time. 

There are many competitive gaming monitors in the market now, but not all are like LG’s UltraGear, especially with what it tries to bring for all gaming, editing, and casual needs of a person.

LG recently unveiled its UltraGear OLED 27GR95QE-B, and while this gaming monitor may not have a good first impression because of its name, it is one of the flagship monitors from the company. It is under the famed UltraGear lineup of the company which centers on gaming monitors of different shapes and sizes for multiple needs.

It boasts of its 27-inch monitor that is capable to output 240Hz refresh rate and 2560x1440p resolution (4K). Those numbers are known for being industry standards (for gaming monitors) and usual to current displays. Additionally, it features AMD FreeSync Premium support, NVIDIA G-Sync Compatible certification, and a VESA Adaptive-Sync badge.

However, one of its most impressive specs is its response time of 0.03ms (GtG), one of the fastest in the market. Additionally, the monitor features an OLED QHD screen.

LG UltraGear Gaming Monitor: Is It Worth the Price?

LG’s UltraGear Gaming Monitor lineup is available for preorders now, and the display tech will arrive by next year January for all initial purchases. The 27-inch UltraGear OLED 27GR95QE-B features a price of $999 and is a reasonable price for a high-spec gaming monitor in the current industry.

 With the massive specs it claimed on its spec sheet, it is a beast in terms of its display and capabilities, but that is yet to be tested in actual setups for gaming monitors. 

LG and its Display Technology for All

LG is one of the most famous when it comes to display technologies available in the market, as it creates one for different needs and requirements, and helps consumers pick the right one for them with plenty of options.
