AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX, 7900 XT Unveils But How Would it Fare Against Nvidia’s 40 Series?

The AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX and RX 7900 XT were unveiled to the world today via the company’s Together We Advance_Gaming event which centered on the new graphics card reveal. It is AMD’s answer to the latest release over at Nvidia with the GeForce RTX 40 series which was released last October and delivered the latest-gen graphics processors.

The latest Radeon RX 7000 series delivers on the AMD RDNA 3 architecture which is the company’s most advanced release yet, centering on debuting a massive performance for all needs.

AMD revealed its Radeon RX 7900 XTX and RX 7900 XT to the world, and it centers on the company’s awaited 7000 series to arrive, delivering a new age for graphics processors. The company claims that this is the most advanced chip yet, with significant improvements compared to the previous releases of its famed flagship cards.

The chipmaker said that it delivers 1.7 times higher 4K gaming performance compared to its previous release, formerly known as the Radeon RX 6000 series.

The Radeon RX 7900 XTX and Radeon RX 7900 XT delivers on a new age for AMD, particularly with their improved performance that can handle the latest games, claiming to be beyond 4K.

AMD said that the Radeon RX 7000 series would be available in the next month, December 13, with the 7900 XTX starting at $999 and the 7900 XT starting at $899.

AMD’s New Chips with RDNA 3 Architecture

The company centers on the 7000 series’ latest RDNA 3 architecture with the chiplet design, combining 5nm and 6nm process nodes to deliver what one needs for a significant process. It also centers on 96 compute units which saw an upgrade to its 6000 series.

AMD also boasts of the 24 GB GDDR6 memory and its 384-bit memory interface for the 7000 series.

AMD vs. Nvidia GeForce RTX GPUs

AMD has massive plans for its releases this year, especially as there are leaks regarding the arrival of its flagship processors to arrive on the market, something that would change the computer landscape. One of AMD’s focuses is to make its GPUs and CPUs more affordable for the world, seeing price cuts on its availability.

This move by AMD sets it apart from Nvidia’s GeForce RTX graphics cards as they saw significant price increases that would shift the public towards a crossroads.

The company initially debuted its Ryzen 9 7000 series CPUs and saw earlier leaked prices for the computer processors before its actual release. Nevertheless, it is perfect timing for the company as their latest GPUs follow in this release, providing a computer powerhouse for all needs, centering on massive performance and gaming.

AMD is giving Nvidia a run for its money on the latest Radeon RX 7000 series release, especially with the monstrous specs it delivered from its recent event showcasing the GPUs. The Nvidia GeForce RTX 40 series first saw significant fame on its release, being the company’s latest and most powerful device yet, with AMD only getting started with the 7000 series.
